Our Vision

Chef Cory Peay

Born in Richmond, Virginia, Chef Cory Peay was inspired by the culinary talents of his grandmother growing up. At the age of 15, he began working in restaurants, in humble beginnings as a dishwasher, learning and studying his peers and developing a passion for the diverse world around him. Motivated by his drive and his vision of becoming a chef, he worked his way up, climbing effortlessly through the ranks, perfecting his skill set, and earning the respect of his peers.  Chef Peay has spent over 12 years as an emerging, new-age, cultivator, earning the title of executive chef in the corporate restaurant industry.  He has strived to live by a vision that his dishes should be appealing to the eye and satisfying to his customers. He has many professional accolades under his belt, one of which was ‘Best Seafood Restaurant’ under his direction, in 2015, 2016, and 2019. However, he is not limited by any means. Chef Peay specializes in all delicacies ranging from Asian Fusion, to French Cuisine, and even Southern Delights.

Chef Edris Shabazz

Chef Edris Shabazz is a culinary force blending Caribbean soul food, plant-based barbecue, and Cape Verdean influence into a style that's bold, flavorful, and one-of-a-kind. Born in Boston and raised in Richmond, Virginia, Chef Shabazz began his culinary journey at just 15 years old as a prep cook. From those early days in the kitchen, he has cooked his way through world-class cities including Las Vegas, Miami, D.C., Boston, and Florida, bringing his signature flavor everywhere he goes.

A proud graduate of Le Cordon Bleu, Chef Shabazz sharpened his skills at renowned establishments like Hyde Resorts in Miami and trained under respected mentor Chef Montay Casino. His food is more than a plate - it's an experience: vibrant, soulful, and packed with layers of taste that leave a lasting impression.

Beyond the kitchen, Chef Shabazz is dedicated to educating the next generation on how to eat to live. His passion for health, flavor, and cultural expression fuels his mission to teach children and communities the power of better eating.

Chef Shabazz doesn't just cook - he creates bursts of flavor that speak to heritage, health, and heart.
